Independent EV Repair Specialists

When an electric vehicle fails out of warranty, dealers often quote full battery or component replacement running into the tens of thousands. A small number of independent specialists do something different — they diagnose, repair, and rebuild high-voltage systems at a fraction of that cost, and they document the work in the open.

This is a curated guide to two of the best, organized by repair topic, so you can see what is actually possible before you accept a dealer’s quote.

Important. EV Risk Index curates these channels as independent educational resources. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or paid by either channel. This content is for understanding how EV faults are diagnosed and what repair options exist — it is not step-by-step instruction. High-voltage battery and electrical work can be fatal and must only be carried out by qualified EV technicians with the correct training and equipment. Do not attempt high-voltage repairs yourself.
