A note from the founder
EV Risk Index was started by one person, with no investors, no parent company, and no commercial interests beyond keeping the lights on. The platform exists because EV owners deserve a place to document defects independently — without their cases disappearing into manufacturer denials or fragmented regulator portals.
If you've used the platform, told another owner about it, or simply believe consumer documentation should remain independent — thank you. Every contribution is a vote for that independence.
Important disclosures
EV Risk Index is operated as an independent project, not a registered charity or non-profit. Donations are not tax-deductible. They are processed by Stripe and treated as personal income to support platform operations.
Donations are entirely voluntary and do not unlock any premium services, content, or features. The platform is free to use for everyone, regardless of contribution.
If a donation was made in error, refunds may be requested within 30 days by emailing legal@evriskindex.com. Stripe processes refunds within 5-10 business days.

Submitting or preserving correspondence through EV Risk Index does not guarantee regulatory action, manufacturer response, recall issuance, reimbursement, or legal outcomes.
