What counts as a "vehicle" under the fleet tier?
A vehicle is one VIN. The subscription tier sets the maximum number of distinct VINs tracked under your account for the annual term. You can submit unlimited invoices for any of those VINs throughout the year.
What if my fleet grows mid-year?
You can upgrade to the next tier at any time — we prorate the difference and your renewal date stays the same. If a vehicle leaves the fleet, you can swap a new VIN in for the remainder of the term at no cost.
Is this legal advice?
No. EVRiskIndex provides documentation, recall cross-referencing, and structured analysis based on the invoice text and the public risk methodology. Findings are observational. Owners, fleet managers, and their licensed advisors remain responsible for any legal, warranty, or tax action.
Which countries are supported?
Service is available in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and most EU markets. Recall cross-referencing draws from Transport Canada, NHTSA, DVSA (UK), and ACEA-region regulators where applicable.
Do you provide French-language analysis?
Currently English only. French-language analysis is scheduled to be available in Q3 2026 — your subscription will automatically include it once it ships, at no additional cost.
How is data submitted?
Through the secure upload portal. Each invoice is uploaded as a PDF, image, or text export. Fleet customers receive a portal with multi-vehicle organization, structured tagging, and historical search across all submitted invoices.
What happens to the data?
Invoice data is encrypted at rest. Owners retain ownership of all submitted documents. We do not share fleet data with manufacturers, dealers, or insurance carriers. Detailed privacy terms are at /privacy/.
Can I cancel?
Yes. If no invoices have been uploaded or analyses processed on the account, cancellation is refunded in full. If any forms have been submitted or invoices uploaded during the active term, the current billing period stands — the subscription will not renew, but the paid term is non-refundable.
Data retention after cancellation. You have the full remainder of your subscription term to export your processed analyses and source documents. When the billing cycle ends, your data is retained at no cost for an additional 6 months with continued export access. At the start of the 7th month after cancellation, the account is locked. Locked accounts are held in cold storage for 2 years, during which the data is preserved but not accessible. At any point during that 2-year window you may reactivate the subscription — your data is restored and becomes immediately accessible again. After the 2-year cold-storage window elapses without reactivation, data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
